The Camino de los Pinos, near Cónchar, is a beautiful excursion. You can start from the Mirador el Concejo where there is easy parking and soon the path that enters through pine forests before reaching the Mirador del Cerro de la Cruz begins.
This route runs along a path with little unevenness and ends on a steep slope at the Mirador del Cerro de la Cruz, with impressive views of the valley, the Dúrcal river gorge, with Sierra Nevada in the background and Pico del Caballo in front.
The descent is carried out by surrounding the mountain from behind, going down a lane that leads back to Cónchar and its route is very well signposted between farmland and pine forest areas.
